Valerie Woods
Valerie Woods is a marketing and management consultant in Belize.  She holds a MA in Tourism Administration from George Washington University, Washington D.C. and a BSc in Business Administration from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York.    
After a stint as a Sales & Marketing Director at the Radisson Fort George Hotel in Belize, Valerie became the youngest Director of Tourism for Belize. Prior to that, she had served as Director of Marketing and Deputy Director for the Belize Tourism Board. In 1999, Ms. Woods became the Executive Director of the country’s only national conservation trust fund, the Protected Areas Conservation Trust (PACT).  She held this position until 2005 when she decided to go into business on her own which would give her more time with her two young children.  Valerie currently serves as a Board Director of the Belize YMCA.
Valerie brings a wealth of experience in event planning, management and tourism and a genuine enthusiasm for a job well done to Belize Weddings & Events.
